Mary Denise (Fite) Keba of Plumstead Township, formerly of Warminster, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 20, 2014, after a long battle with diabetes and acute renal failure. Her loving family and friends surrounded her as she passed in the comfort of her home. She was 54.

Mary was born Sept. 29, 1959, to her loving parents, Patricia and Joseph. She was the beloved sister of Joseph (Ruth Ann), Trish (Juan), John (Donna), and Charles.

Growing up in Warminster, Mary attended Nativity of Our Lord School and William Tennent High School before graduating in 1977.

Mary was always a hard worker. Growing up, she delivered newspapers, was a member of the Warminster Ambulance Corps, held down multiple part-time jobs, and worked full-time at Microcom as an electronic assembler.

In her free time, she enjoyed coaching softball, painting landscapes, and taking trips up to Canada.

On the first Friday of December in 1989, Mary met the love of her life Joseph, after he broke up a bar fight at Walsh’s Tavern. Not long after, the couple began to talk about marriage. Joe proposed to Mary at the Willow Grove Airbase as they watched planes take off. They married on June 5, 1993, and have been a loving couple for more than 20 years. Mary is survived not only by her husband, but by their caring daughter, Stacey, who had been Mary’s reason for never giving up during ill health, and for having an optimistic attitude.
